Our Cattery is located in Staten Island, NY (one of the 5 boroughs), about 30 minutes from NYC and 10 minutes from Newark, NJ.
We are registered with The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) and show exclusively in Region 1.
We are also members of the Garden State Cat Club and the CFA Mentoring Program.
I have been married to my husband since 1994 and we are raising three beautiful kids: Stephen, Eric & Isabelle.
I was always an animal lover and rescued any possible cat or dog from the streets,even when I was a baby. Since I always admired the persian breed,
I studied everything possible about them. Health, genetics, grooming..etc..you name it I read it =)
Once I was sure I knew the basics of running a loving and small cattery, I purchased my first lilac point himalayan. In the beginning, it was tough to convince my hubby that I was going to share my life with more babies (though not human *G*).
In the end though, he and my kids have always supported my choice and they even help me with the grooming!!
Soon I realized that I wanted to work mostly with these rarer color, I focused on my chocolate & lilac while still keeping a small number of non carriers.
Though originally we started with the himmies, I now find myself working towards mostly solids and bicolors!! Eventually I will get my loved chocolate vans =)
Our lines include: Bolo,ByHisHands, QDPies,Cactusway,Catillak,Noblessa,Ocalicos,Joleigh and many others well known names.
With this hobby there are ups and downs, but through it all the love for this breed remains unscathed.
We strive for good health and quality, putting a lot of emphasis on the "health issues" that come up with this breed.
We do our best to keep up to date with any medical problems known around the fanciers.
Because we care for our babies, we cannot provide stud service. Many diseases and viruses can be spread easily from one cat to the other.
Our furry babies are always up to date with vaccination, deworming and they are tested for FeLV/FIV and PKD (now through DNA).
I must say that if it weren't for some friends in the Fanciers who helped me through my "downs" in this hobby, I never would have made it!

I always knew I wanted to be a small cattery, for the simple reason that I NEVER wanted to cage and I wanted to be able to provide
them with individual care. That is why all my babies are very socialized from the time they are born! Sharing our lives with them is the most wonderful sensation in the world!
They are free to roam around the house at all times. I only keep two studs at a time, because I want them to be able to be around us.
I know many breeders say it isn't possible to have whole boys in the house, but I sincerely have to disagree! My boys are well behaved and they do NOT spray!!
Being an at-home mom, I'm here 24/7. The boys stay in separate rooms at night or when they may not be supervised, to avoid any "surprise" *G*.
When we place our babies in new homes, we screen the potential owners to see if they are actually suited for each other.
We do NOT believe in declawing and by contract we ask that our babies do not suffer this unjust and cruel surgery.
We also screen for people who will keep our cats/kittens indoors at ALL times!
If you are a pet owner and/or breeder who disagrees with the statement above, please look elsewhere as we will not sell to anyone who doesn't believe the same!
Our Kittens are all CFA registered.
All Risque Cats/Kittens come fully vaccinated (except for rabies if too young) and wormed
